This is such a Gorgeous Gold Filled Paste Star Locket by SKM Co.
The locket features a center clear paste rhinestone surrounded by 11 stars encrusted with clear paste rhinestones. The back is plain without any engravings.
The inside of the locket has is marked SkM co and can hold 1 photo. SKM stands for the S.K. Merrill & Company of Providence, Rhode Island which was in production from about 1871-1915. The locket is in good antique condition and has a secure closure.
