Qing Dynasty Commemorative Coin Necklace
This versatile coin pendant can be worn on either side. The front side of the coin depicts the bust of Emperor Qianlong from the Qing Dynasty (1736-1795), the reverse side of the coin depicts a dragon.
The Qianlong emperor’s long 60-year reign (1736–1795) was a particularly fascinating time in China’s history. During his reign, China was the wealthiest and most populous nation in the world. The Qianlong emperor studied Chinese painting, loved to paint and particularly loved to practice calligraphy.
