Edwardian Diamond Sapphire Five Stone Ring | 18k Gold Birmingham 1907
A beautifully balanced five-stone band from 1907.
Three old European cut diamonds alternate with two blue sapphires across a substantial 18k yellow gold band, creating a clean, elegant line. The stones are well matched in size and brilliance, and the proportions feel just right. The diamonds total approximately 0.65. carats. The sapphires add a pop of rich blue that keeps it from feeling too formal.
At 5.2 grams, this ring has real presence on the hand. The 18k gold has a warm, buttery tone, and the craftsmanship is exactly what you'd expect from early 1900s English manufacturing. Hallmarked Birmingham 1907, and in excellent condition.
It works beautifully on its own or stacked with simpler bands. Classic, wearable, and full of character.
