This necklace features the coronation medal for King Edward VII's Coronation in 1902. It is referred to as a Darwen Medal. The medal has the name of the Mayor of Darwen (1902) on it, John Tomlinson J.P. The front depicts the front facing image of King Edward while the reverse side of the coin has the phrase " Darwen Heartily Joins in the National Celebrations"
